ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Eli. If you’re looking for a stuffy, suit-and-tie accountant in a glass office, you’ve probably come to the wrong place. I’m a local numbers guy who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty.
For the past decade, my family and I have proudly called the Montello and Portage area home. When I’m not digging into spreadsheets, I’m usually staying busy with a book, playing the guitar, tackling the next big DIY home improvement project, or simply spending quality time with my wife, Brittany, and our four sons.
At heart, I’ve always been a builder and a problem solver. Whether I’m diagnosing a complex issue out in the field, troubleshooting a structural project at home, or untangling a messy set of financial records, I look at every business through the lens of a mechanic: What’s broken, and how do we build it back stronger?
With a degree in Finance, certification as a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and years of hands-on experience being in the field and managing the operational and financial duties for Hamm’s ArborCare, as well as managing the fund accounting and bookkeeping for my church, I understand the unique financial pressures under the hood of both small businesses and non-profit organizations. I know what it’s like to balance a demanding week of real-world operations with the strict accuracy required at the desk.
I founded Greater Heights Bookkeeping because I noticed too many local business owners spending their Sundays buried in receipts and stressing over cash flow instead of enjoying their families or getting a hard-earned rest.
